Stretching an Extra Large Silk Painting

Your loose silk painting can be stretched and affixed to wooden stretcher bars, as with many traditional canvas paintings. Donna sometimes adds a layer of batting beneath the silk to highlight the comforter/spiritual quality of the silk painting. Due to the cost of shipping extra large paintings, most galleries will ship before stretching, and stretch them locally. A professional framer can easily stretch paintings. If you would like Donna to stretch your extra large painting, the shipping cost will be the sum of insurance, packaging, shipping, and $8 handling.
